Yaddo is an amazing non-profit based in Saratoga Springs, NY. They offer a retreat for creatives from around the world. We worked with their team to create a fun and vibrant website that allows their brand and story to shine through.
Our design team worked with the creatives at Yaddo to explore, refine, and implement this design. From shared pencil sketches turned to professional mockups, discussion of color palettes and shapes; we dove deep into what makes Yaddo the institution it is today and how that needed to be expressed in its digital presence.
The homepage features a fun mosaic of images that the Yaddo team can interchange and play with to create a visual story of the space and the people. This implementation leans into modern styling using CSS grid to create varied mosaics across devices.
The site uses TablePress integrations to allow for spreadsheet syncing of large data structures and has a custom interactive artist directory offering faceted search.
We loved working with Kristy and Aaron on this project and we were all so happy with the final product!
Mobile friendly design. Join, Listen, Read page brings in Yaddo events, podcast episodes, and published news articles into an engaging feed of varied and filterable content.
